Bob started Yakima Automotive in 1979 after working as a technician at Texaco for several years. He learned most of his skills from his grandfather and spent much of his time growing up tinkering with anything he could find. Away from the shop Bob enjoys anything that puts him outdoors, particularly skiing, hiking and climbing. Inside the shop, Bob has always done general repair work, but today you will most likely find him working on A/C jobs.

I have been turning wrenches with my father as far as I can remember. I attended the YVCC automotive technical school in high school where I also participated in skills USA and took 4th place out of all the high school students in the state. After graduation I moved to California where I spend 4 years working as a diesel tech. I came back to Yakima 3 months ago to work at the family business and couldn't be happier and more excited to be here.
We all know that engines today run more efficient than ever before. Good maintenance practice will assure ongoing performance. Your routine oil change and minor maintenance should be done every three months or 3000 miles.
