“Over the years Yakima Automotive has been the "go back to" place for me, as I have tried many others in town but always end up back there because they are honest and they stand behind their work. Both my Lexus and Ford - they can fix them. I am happy to recommend Yakima Automotive to anyone who is not satisfied with their current mechanic.”

About Us

Bob AllgaierBob Allgaier
President & C.E.O.

Bob started Yakima Automotive in 1979 after working as an auto repair technician at Texaco for several years. He learned most of his skills from his grandfather and spent much of his time growing up tinkering with anything he could find. Away from the shop Bob enjoys anything that puts him outdoors, particularly skiing, hiking and climbing. Inside the car repair shop, Bob has always done general repair work, but today you will most likely find him working on A/C jobs.

Heidi CaseHeidi Case
Vice President/Office Manager

Heidi has worked for Yakima Automotive since 1995, but her experience at the shop started long before then. When she was 7 years old Heidi would come into the shop and answer phones during her summer vacation for her father. Heidi takes care of all business administration in the back office ensuring internal processes run smoothly.

A Friendly reminder for our Valued Customers

We all know that car engines today run more efficiently than ever before. Good maintenance practices will assure ongoing performance. Your routine oil change and minor maintenance work should be done every three months or 3,000 miles.
